My journey
When I made the move to Prague I expected a fresh start. Instead I found myself overwhelmed, disconnected and unsure of who I was becoming. Navigating a new life from scratch left me feeling completely lost.
I know what it feels like to lose your confidence, your direction and wonder if this is really the life I came here to build. I have been exactly where you are and I made it through. That is why I partner with expats like you so you can make it through and build the life you came here for.
There was the language barrier, the loneliness and the lack of community. The overwhelm of not knowing my next step or what I actually wanted. I lost my confidence, my stability and my sense of direction. There were moments I wanted to give up. But I kept going. I took it one step at a time. Language, career, community, residency. Each one a step forward. Each one building the life I came here for.
